USC KECK OR Nurse New Grad 2019

Published

Does anybody have any experience with working at USC KECK in the OR and what it’s like? Recently interviewed for their new OR new grad RN program and curious about what it’s like working in their OR as far as scheduling, atmosphere, overall experience. Thanks in advance!

Hey! I heard back today too, but I missed their call and they were out of the office by the time I called back... What did they say?!

I got the position but since I don’t have my license yet I wouldn’t be able to start with the class unfortunately ? I take my board the same day the class starts ?

oh no! Congrats on getting it, but also that’s very unfortunate... Since you’re taking it the day it starts, they should make an exception or something☹️☹️

Hi there! Yes I did today! Unfortunately for me I will be unable to take the job because I take my boards the same day the class is starting.

Oh no! That sucks ? congrats on your job offer though! Wish you the best on your Nclex!

Also, I noticed you made a post in regards to the KP Panorama City new grad program. Sadly, you do need your RN license before getting an invite for the interview. You should email the recruiter and ask her if the name is provided on the email with the candidate snapshot to fill out or call HR.

I'm currently working as a Registered Nurse for Kaiser Permanente, but I was hoping to get into the ICU program at USC since I have less than a year experience.
