Hi everyone! I decided to start this forum I am starting this forum as a place to discuss the USC Keck RN residency program for the September 2020 cohort. Hopefully we can shine some light for each other on where people are in the hiring process.

Forgot to mention that I submitted my application on 6/7 and it's still says "under review".

Thank you for the thread! I applied 6/8, did the personality questionnaire 6/10, and mine says "Under Consideration"

Nice. What units did you apply to? Are you an internal or external candidate?

I should add that I applied to Pulmonary ICU and abdominal transplant. I'm an external candidate.

I‘m an external candidate and applied to their surgical tele and cardiovascular thoracic tele!

Hi everyone!

I applied to Neuro ICU and Cardiovascular Thoracic ICU on 6/8 and my application still says "under review". I have not gotten the email to complete a personality test. Hoping that's not a bad sign.

If I had to guess, we probably will here from usc between this week and next based on last years cohort comments

I received a call from their Transition Program Manager last week on Friday because I apparently didn't attach my resume to my application? Which terrified me that I could make such a dumb mistake because I thought I had followed their directions correctly! In any case, she let me email her my resume, so hopefully that will be okay!

She said that their SICU and CTICU were not hiring new graduates this round, but their Neuro ICU is! And that interviews would most likely be in the second week of July. Wishing everyone the absolute best!

That’s a bummer but so be it. I didn’t apply to cticu or sicu but I’m guessing the units I applied to might not be open either. Hopefully not the case but guess we’ll have to wait and see.
