I didn’t get an interview last year....but I had a conversation with Dr. Gold last March to go over my application and she emphasized that I have to take prerequisites before applying and I had to do well in them. I think another thing that could deny you an interview is the content of your essay. I am sure your essay was great, but it’s something I would change if your grades and extracurriculars meet their standards.

Thanks everyone for your insight. I just spoke with Dr. Darna, there wasn’t anything missing from my application. It was strong in every aspect, he just said there were too many applicants and they had applicants that already had applied last year and they took that into consideration and told me to try again next year. Wow it’s so difficult to get in! I’m so happy for everyone that got an interview it seems incredibly hard to even make it to that point!
