Hey friends! I am starting this thread for the USC Arcadia Hospital New Grad Residency Program starting in September 2025. I haven't seen the application populate yet, but their website says June/July. Best of luck to all of you!!

I tried looking at the earlier cohort's forum and it seemed like they got interview invites about 2 weeks after the application deadline? Not sure if it'll be the same this time or not tho 🙂
Hi! I got a call earlier this week from a nurse manager inquiring about my application. One of her last questions was about my RN license to which I told her I was taking my NCLEX later this month. She said unfortunately I'm not eligible for this cohort since a current RN license was needed to apply. I knew that when applying but thought I would try anyway. Good luck to everyone else still waiting to hear back!

I'm so sorry to hear that. This is one of the few hospitals that requires you to have your RN license when applying, most want it 2-4 weeks before the start date. Can I ask which unit you applied to?

I applied to multiple, I don't remember which unit this specific nurse manager was calling from!

Oh! That's a bummer, they should have been clear about having RN license by application. I am planning to take the NCLEX next month 😞 it took me 2 hrs to apply for 9 applications LOL
