USC Arcadia Hospital - September 2025 New Grad Residency Program

Do we need our RN license to apply? Unclear if it means prior to start or before submitting application. I'm planning to take my NCLEX next month but before the program start date!

I didn't take NCLEX either, I just applied anyway. For USC Keck, somebody from last cohort said they want NCLEX by July 30th. So I would hope Arcadia will be similar

What are the requirements we have to submit? Do we put resume, personal statement, cover letter, and letters of rec into one single pdf file and submit it into the resume/cv section of the application?

I submitted resume, cover letter, letters of rec & transcripts. You're able to upload 5 different files so you can include a personal statement if you'd like, but I didn't find anything that specifically stated what to upload so I did everything but a personal statement.

I applied to each one individually just to cover my bases. Might be overkill but I really want a job.

Do we need an active RN license already to apply? If we don't but are planning on taking it next month can we select yes on the do you have an RN license? I'm wondering if saying no would disqualify us.

I was honest and said "no" because I don't have an active RN license right now. In my cover letter, I listed the date of my NCLEX. The other USC hospital says we don't need our license until late July, so I think it will be okay.

I messaged the hiring manager for this program about applying if we don't have out RN licence yet and she said our apps will not be accepted if we do not have our RN licence and it has to be posted onto CA boards.
