Anyone interested in keeping in touch with me via e-mail or here to help me learn more about NURSING in another country... I would like to learn more about nursing in AUSTRALIAAAA :) This is for a course in my Master's program, which I just started :)

I would normally offer to be of help, but since I'm now retired x5 years, it would be preferable for one of the current working nurses to assist you.

Hi I am a E.R nurse in Los angeles california, and would like to know more about nursing in Oz, especially the E.D. Are there any protocols that nurses can initiate?, how is the relationship doctors and nurses? I got a good friend in NSW area, central coast ? how is the central coast area, NSW?

G'day Joe, I can answer one of your questions at least.
The N.S.W. central coast is beautiful. Especially the Lake Macquarie region.
Sorry unable to help with the nsg questions.
I'm now retired, (5 years), so am a bit out of touch with the current trends in the casualty dept. aka, ED. I refuse to call it that! lol
I "grew up" with it being called casualty and for me, it'll always be casualty! lol
