hello,

I'm an Iranian nurse recently graduated in the Philippines .I have no Experience.

what do you think people? Where should I apply ? I personally prefer North America .

Is there any good Agency ? Is it better to apply by myself?

Do I have any chance for USA or Canada at all?

As you know one of the prerequisites to take the NCLEX is to be registered in the country of your education, so I asked the Philippines PRC (professional regulation commission) regarding my registration problem

And they told me that they will provide me a certification named (Certification of ineligibility to take the Nursing licensure Examination for NON-FILIPINO Citizens) .

What do you think? Would this certification be enough for me to take the NCLEX?

@nomadnurse, it will not be enough for you to take the NCLEX, check with the IEN application instructions on each state BON or provincial college of nurses websites. When you apply to a US BON or Canadian College of Nurses that accepts applications from IENs who were never registered in the country of their nursing education, you usually need to submit proof of the reason why you were never registered. In your case, the reason is because you were not a citizen of the Philippines and were not eligibile for the registration exam. The instructions on the website will advise you how to submit the certification of ineligibility.
