Urgent!!! Packet complettion help needed

I need help to answer some questions for FCCJ students. Okay, i got the packet but the problems is I'm visiting my mother for awhile and I'm not in FL, I'm here in AL. Is it required that I got have to my background check at the address the school provided? Can I possible do that somewhere else? What about the physical examination? Can I go the hospital here to have it done? Please get back to me ASAP. Thanks so much

Have you thought about calling the school and asking them this info??

Seems to me that would be the most reliable people to ask.

I'm going to on Monday, just kind anxious at the monent. I have a doctor's appoint to have my physical done on this Mon too and not sure if it is acceptable that I have it done here.

Hello,

Your background check I believe needs to be done with the school's company. I'm in first term right now. Our physicals could be done anywhere but the drug testing had to be through that clinic that the school says to go to. Hope that helps. :D

How long did it take you to finish all the drug testing and criminal background check? How sure are you about having physical done where else beside there? Everything needed to be in by the 1st :(

All I can say is what applied to me for summer term... I got my physical done at my regular doctor's office. The drug test was just a matter of just going to the clinic on Dunn ave. and "peeing in a cup." The background check company is different from the one that you guys are using. I'm pretty sure though that you will have to use the company the school says to. Just call to be sure. The most time consuming aspect is getting any titers done. Try to get that done sooner asap. Also go ahead and sign the waiver for the hepB test even if you plan on finishing it. It will just save you the trouble of the school hassling you to get it done. Good luck to you. :)

Yeah, after too many unsucessful calls, I got a hold of someone through email. She told me that I need to have them done at the address the school provided. So, I got no choice but to drive up there 6 hrs this week to get them out of the way. As far the titer goes, I had my blood taken today and it sucks that I will have to wait a week or two, yike. My only option to have a faster results is to go there to the regular clinic. I believe it is somewhere at the North Camp. How is your semester so far?

Its going well. Going by really quick. Always something to do, some test to study for, something to read. I really like it so far.

well, i'm confused, but i have the sheet on "background checks" and for fingerprinting you must have it done at the location provided (101 E. Union St). i checked this with the nursing office.

for the criminal background check it can be done online at certifiedbackground.com

for drug screening this must also be at the location provided (northside medical clinic).

Yeah, that's what they told me too. So, this week, I'm driving up there. Background is done and the physical I can complete them here. Not sure how long is going to take to get the titer results back from the lab
