Anyone know of places upstate that are hiring new grads? I'm currently in NYC and looking to get out of this crazy area. I'm not originally from New York and not familiar with any of the cities upstate. What can you tell me? I'd love to get on at a hospital that has friendly people and good training. Thanks for any information.

Chutney, I started around 24 at the hospital and after three years i am at 27.80 without differentials. But I work at a rural hospital outside of Buffalo. In the suburbs with the bigger organizations you start at around 27 if I remember correctly.

Most of the Upstate hospitals hire ADNs, at least to my knowledge. I had no issues getting a job. Good luck!
