UPenn Second Degree/ABSN Fall 2016

I remember receiving that email & I didn't even know that BSN got interviews until I read this post. On the timeline it says the interviews are on those dates but in the paragraph below it says we will be contacted on those dates, slightly confusing. I haven't heard anything yet though.

Waiting to hear as well! It seems like the admissions office has been really backed up...the portal is still not accurately reflecting my transcript status. I am interested in Penn, but it sucks because the other two schools I am vying for will let me know of acceptance waaayyyy before penn will...so I'll have to make decisions.

Did anyone get an email giving us instructions for financial aid? The email with the interview dates said we would receive it in a week and it's definitely been longer than a week...

@ bjl56 I haven't received anything beyond the "thank you for applying" email, but I am also interested in the financial aid info.

@KimberlyLock I'm reading the email over again and regarding the application checklist, it does say:

"Please wait until November 15th to see if all application materials have been received. If the checklist states something is missing at that time, feel free to contact us."

I might be on the incorrect thread, but I applied to UPenn's accellerated BSN/MSN program and just received an email today for an interview.

I am extremely excited considering it is my number one choice!

I received an interview invitation today. I initially applied to the joint ABSN/MSN program and did not make it to the interview round for MSN, so I was placed into the ABSN pile. Admittedly, Penn is a reach school and I did not expect to be accepted for the ABSN/MSN. That being said I am very pleased to have the chance to interview for the ABSN. The email stated that the ABSN interviews are 30 minute phone interviews, which will occur between Dec 1st and 18th. Anybody else hear anything?

Didn't really think that far ahead since it's a reach school for me but since I never received that financial aid email, I wouldn't even know how to plan for it at this point

i believe penn gives a grant bringing the tuition down to around 65k. Still outrageous.

I havent heard anything about an interview yet, which is a bit concerning...I applied only to ABSN. Anyone else in this same boat? The school seems a bit disorganized...
