I'm repplying for the PMHNP speciality and did not see a thread created so I figured I'd do it again! With the deadline passed, good luck to everyone who applied!

I'm guessing you're looking for stats from a more recent grad. I graduated from the WHNP/CNM program in 2016. Here is what I can say:
Penn and a lot of the other top ranking schools look at applications very holistically. Stats matter, yes. But it's much more about how you present yourself overall as an applicant. GPA matters to the extent that it says how likely you are to be able to thrive in a rigorous, science-based program. Experience shows them that you understand the role of an NP and basically know what you are getting yourself into (working in a specific setting or with a specific population). It can also really help you create your "why" for your personal statement. But other than that, it's really all about telling your story. Letting them see who you are, how your (related) experiences have helped you grow to where you are today, why you will make a good nurse practitioner, and demonstrating that you've put thought into your future as an NP.
