Updating address on PA BON

Hello everyone! I am a new graduate RN who has already received the PA paper license.

I am moving for a job and I can’t figure out how to update my address on PALS. All it says on the PA license to let them know within 10 days of moving.

Please let me know if you’ve ever updated your address! With everything going on, they currently only are doing emails and haven’t responded back to me.

Specializes in Pediatrics, Pediatric Float, PICU, NICU.

Not sure if this helps or not, from the PALS / PA BON website:

Name Change/Address Change/Duplicate license
You can request a name or address change online at www.pals.pa.gov. Login with your User ID and Password and click the eye icon located on the left panel in your dashboard labeled "Personal Details." Be prepared to electronically upload a copy of one of the following name change verification documents: marriage certificate, divorce decree which indicates the retaking of your maiden name, passport, other “legal” document indicating the retaking of a maiden name.

@JadedCPN Thank you!! This is exactly what I did almost 3 weeks ago and my address still hasn’t been changed on my profile or on my license. When I changed it under personal details, it submitted as an application for address change.

I just want to know if it takes this long (more than 3 weeks) for PALS to change something as simple as an address? Has anyone else changed their address on PALS?

Specializes in Pediatrics, Pediatric Float, PICU, NICU.

I've never had a PA license so can't attest to how quick or slow they are, but I can say in general that all entities are running a lot slower these days with the pandemic situation.

Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.

Another PA license link to change address is:

https://www.pals.pa.gov/#/page/PalsSupportTicket?fc=pals&sc=pals5&tc=

With COVID-19 affecting state employee staffing/working from home, taking twice as long for issues with state licensing boards to be resolved.

Good luck with your new address.
