Is anyone else applying to the compressed nursing program at University of Toronto this year for entrance in September 2013? I want to start a thread so we can see when people get accepted and what their grades are like. Good luck to everyone!
Just got my offer via email to uft! This was my first choice so I am very happy and will be accepting this offer. My last year average was an 86.2% and my pre req marks were in mid to high 70s. I had graduated from BSc Kinesiology last April. I didn't have a very extensive list of volunteering so I was nervous that would be an issue into getting accepted .
HI sm.1990,
Did you just receive your offer today? If so, then i guess they are still in the process of handing out the first round?
Hey guys, I was accepted just an hour ago! I'm so excited but also really conflicted - I was also invited out to UBC for an interview - any thoughts?
My last year GPA was a 3.6 but I had really bad pre-requisite grades from first year. I don't have a lot of volunteer but a lot of health-related work experience.
Wow, you guys are lucky!
They emailed me on March 15th to say that they needed an updated transcript (something went wrong at OUAC and they received my marks up to, but not including, Sept 2012). I sent for it and they received it March 18th. One of my humanities was on there (Music in Popular Culture) and I am finishing up my other humanities course now... maybe they are waiting to see how I do. I had an 86 in anatomy/physiology, a 90 in music & pop culture, a 91 in my psych and 85 in women's studies, a 91 and 85 in biology.... I was chosen to be a research student for the two top psych profs at my school, and I regularly volunteer with the Cancer Society. Who knows. Bah. I hope I get in!!!!
It seems as though things have come to a halt, but I could be wrong. I'm aware from previous posts that offers that were made in March expire on April 10th, so things may change for those of us that are waiting after the above date. I'm also under the impression that offers are being given out only to those that have completed their pre-reqs, so if you're still in the process of taking a class, factor this into the equation. U of T hasn't confirmed any of this of course, this is just based on what people have posted or not posted. To date, no one has mentioned anything about a conditional offer.

Yep, i think you are right. I emailed Connect at U of T Nursing a couple of days ago, and they confirmed that right now they are handing out offers to those people who have no conditions, and have completed all prerequisite courses. Lots of time left :)
