Nice to read you traumaRUs,
Hey, it just dawned on me, (when I see your username I think of midwest), I'll still be "midwest" just about 1,187 miles south of where I'm at!

Hello Itshamrytym,
Nice to see all the happy colorful balloons!
I will indeed update from TX!
Funny thing is that I have nearly three months of Army officer training before I get to precept for nursing so...I can hardly wait!

Congrats Gennaver and goodluck at Sam Houston...hope your field exercise at Camp Bullis is not a lake like when I went. Being in the field during a torrential downpour sucks!!!!

Hiya LT Mary!
Thank you very much.
I'm here, just a bit distracted at the moment with inprocessing and trying to help out a relatively "overwhelmed" young LT here who came with no car and no place to stay and she is PCS's here!
Hope she finds a place soon because time is a'ticking!
Cheers,
Hey Cherish,

so did you ever end up getting a service uniform (class A's)? curious about what they might have said since you showed up, if anything. i still have not purchased one.
i think i might know the lt that your talking about, or course there is probably more than just one who showed up without a place to live. hope your having some fun.
good luck to both of you at oblc!!!! i'll pray that the sun

Congrats, Gen! That is amazing news :)
Be glad for the rain -- at least it hasn't topped 100 degrees yet!

Hi there,
I did not ever end up getting the Class A's yet and there has been no instruction to do so d/t the transition.
Thankfully for the solo LT she is having things taken care of for her situation as there were extenuating circumstances beyond my own abilities or resources to care for.
Glad to be in Texas and excited to be at BAMC!
