UNLV Summer 2016

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone else is going to apply for the UNLV SON 2016 in the summer. I'm hoping to make this thread a place where we can all talk together about our path to nursing school! :)

Congrats everyone! I had to change my signing date to March 16 at 1:00... Can anyone remind me what the room number is?

The forum is extremely quiet this semester :down: I called earlier and they said calls will be going out until the end of next week.

I agree that this seems to be a quiet semester on here. Maybe that means there are fewer overall applicants. Anyone know how many applied?

My impatient ass also called on Thursday and they said the same thing.. They will be making calls until the end of next week.. I'm sitting at 92.01, just a few points below queenJay and I haven't gotten my call yet.. Being that this forum is quiet for this sem, I was also hoping that there aren't that many applicants.. hahaa. But we'll see.. From the past forums I've read, they usually finish making calls within 5 days..

Not sure how many applicants for this cohort.. Damn it, I should have asked when I called lol

Apokez, I don't think they call on weekends because the office is closed..

Has anyone received a call today? I have 91.6 points but it doesnt appear like that is going to cut it for this round of admission.

Hi! It's nice to see I'm not the only one freaking out:scrying: I have a 91.51 and no call yet. It seems like the forum is super quiet compared to older forums. I called Friday and they said they making calls until next Friday and only have ONE administrator making calls. I'm so nervous. Good luck to everyone! Hope we all get calls soon.

Yea, I'm at 92.01 and I still haven't gotten a call.. Damn, if the cutoff is 92, that'll be the highest I've seen for the 3 cohorts.. But hopefully, it's taking this long because there is only 1 person calling 48 students! Ughhhh this wait is killing me!!!

I'm sure you guys got in MissesWoo and ktemp. Those are really good scores! My advisor told me the highest cutoff they have gotten was a 90.7 so its so hard to believe that the cutoff is 92ish...especially for the summer cohort. Spring 2015 was 90.56 and I heard Fall was 90.5ish. Last summer in the high 88's. So tempting to call and harass the office for the cutoff lol

Hello everyone! I'm also nervously sitting at 91.9 and still have not gotten a call yet either. I really hope it's only a matter of time for them to start calling! I agree that 92 pts would be too high for cutoff especially since it's summer, but then anything can happen. Let's all hope for the best tho (:
