  1. Hello! I too graduated on May 10 of this year and took my nclex on June 7. Today I found out I passed after waiting 48 long hours for the results!!! I can say UWORLD def was the only thing I used to prepare for this test and it didnt let me down. I was only scoring in the 40-60s range for each exam I made and did not buy the self assessment because I did fairly well on the RN Exit and CAT exam we had during the last month of school. I also worked full time as I was studying and would at least do 40-75q each day for 2 and a half weeks before my exam. I really focused on reading the rationales even when I got them right just to see if I was thinking the right things. At my school we did HESIs and we had a HESI NCLEX live review for 3 days that went over everything we learned in nursing school on the last week of school, which I thought really helped to understand test taking strategies which really helped me in a lot of questions I did on UWORLD. I only probably did 1300qs on UWorld. I did not study the day before my exam and just chose to relax so I wouldnt feel too anxious even tho I was already really anxious anyway haha. I was a nervous wreck the day of the exam which i scheduled to take in the afternoon and after the exam I still felt like I failed because I went over 75qs (even though i knew the number of questions didnt matter it still made me worry even more) and I even cried after taking the exam lol. It was truly the most difficult exam I've done but it probably was due to the fact I thought it mattered so much so I was just really overthinking too much. Some tips would be to just relax and remember nursing school has prepared us for the NCLEX since day 1, we really do know more than we think we do, dont be too hard on yourself, do your best on the exam, dont overthink, and use those test taking strategies to make educated guesses if youre stuck! Goodluck guys and Congratulations to everyone who has made it this far and who passed the NCLEX!

  8. What schools were you planning as backup, birdofparadise?
  9. yan_13, how much points do you have? Congrats to those who got the calls and I'm sure you all will do a great job in the program (: We might get the rejection letters on monday, if not today, if we didnt get in.

  15. Hello everyone! Hope your summers are going well! I got a 93 on the HESI and I also did not study all that much, what really did help is the elsevier blue book and based my studying off of that book! Also the test is pretty straight forward, the biggest thing is to not overthink! I have an overall score of 92.19 and hopefully the cutoff isnt going to be as high as this summer's cohort.. I'm hoping for the best and hopefully we can all get in this cohort together (:
