Comment below your points if you are applying to the Summer 2018 nursing cohort at UNLV
they start calling thursday if everyone turned their paperwork in?
When i applied for spring i heard that they usually leave the 1st day to give pple time to turn in missing paper work like transcripts or hesi scores to add up their points but if everyone turned everything in, then im assuming they should start calling
Hey guys! I am so excited for you all! :) I hope that you all get into the Summer cohort. I'm planning on applying for the Fall cohort, but I had a question for anyone who has the advice. I already took my HESI and I got a good score, but I was kind of hoping that it would have been 2 or more percentages higher! Therefore, I am considering retaking it. Have any of you retaken the HESI before? If so, how different was it from the first time? Especially in regards to the A&P portion! If this applies to any of you, I would really appreciate the help.

I did not retake the HESI but from what I heard, most students either get the same score or do not improve by much. One of my friend got exactly the same score after retaking it. My other fiend improved by 0.5- 1 percent only. If you got a 92 or higher overall I do not think your score will improve by much.

Thanks for your response, Unlv2018! I got a 91% on the exam, but even increasing it to a 92% would help me feel more comfortable since last fall's cut off score was so high. I appreciate the input!
Good luck in this cycle! :)
