UNLV SON Fall 2013

I wanted to start a thread for Fall 2013 UNLV School of Nursing hopefuls!

My letter of acceptance came today

The cutoff was 90.39 for fall.

I feel like the whole cutoff points seems fishy because some people are saying they got in with 87. In addition, I calculated some of the scores that have been posted by the people who got in and they don't have 90 either. Anywho congratulation to everyone who got in :up:and I guess I have to retake my HESI test again and stay positive for next semester :saint:

Does anyone know if we are supposed to bring our shot records and things to the signing session or if that's just for orientation?

I do believe the cutoff was probably higher for this semester because it seems that is increasing each time. People may have miscalculated their scores because the sheet can get confusing.

Hey melby they didn't tell me to bring my records but I will bring anyways just to be prepared. Better to be over prepared than under.

I can second that cutoff of about 90.39. I met with an advisor today and she told me that Fall 2013 was their most applied for AND most competitive semester.

I took each class once

For those of you that had your contract session today I hope it went well!! Hopefully this thread can be used to help each other out with our questions!

Starting with, does anyone know when we get put into our clinical groups? Is it at orientation?

I emailed --------------- abt the clinical placements and she said we won't find out until the end of August.
