I wanted to start a thread for Fall 2013 UNLV School of Nursing hopefuls!

I received my phone call around 2:15 pm today. So excited and relieved. My signing is on the 30th at 9am. Congrats to those who got in and good luck to those who still haven;t received their call yet. Don't give up hope yet.

Does anyone know if our contract signing session the same thing as an orientation? Or are those two different things?

I have a question about the calculations. I'm planning on attending for the spring but will be taking CHEM 108 in the fall, do I still divide by 22 or would I only divide by 18 to get an accurate GPA? Congrats to all of you that made it!!!

If anyone has the cut off point that would be awesome!

You still divide by the total units of 22 for the GPA calculation.

And as far as the contract signing and orientation I believe they are one in the same session. However, I am sure we will find out everything we need to when we have our appts. The last said it'll be abt 2.5 hours long.

Anyone know what the cutt-off was.. From what i see, everyone had 90's?

I scored over a 90 on my HESI, but on the calculation sheet I had a little over an 87 composite score.

Does anyone know if they are offering Chem 108 in the fall? I'm trying to look for it but I can't even find the class to register...

Yes it is being offered, but you have to get on the wait list. When you go on my unlv, uncheck the open classes box. I just Checked.
