Hi everyone! I created this in order for us UNLV pre-nursing students who are applying for Summer 2022 admission and to share HESI A2 exam scores. Feel free to ask questions and you may share your calculation points you are applying with. I am planning on taking my HESI mid-November or December 2021.

KIN 224 (3 attempt points): IN PROGRESS
BIOL 251: A (taken at CSN)
CHEM 108: B (3 attempt points)
NURS 299 (3 attempt points): IN PROGRESS
MATH 124 (2 attempt points): A

Thank you! I recently finished KIN 224…so the anatomy and physiology info was still fresh. I only used Nursehub premium subscription to study and did all the practice tests they had.

A lot of the A&P questions on Nursehub are very similar to the ones on the actual HESI exam. Same with the math as well. Reading was a tad bit different since on Nursehub, they tend to have longer passages.

I’m at 95.6 points right now but I’m kind of scared because based on most people’s answers on here their points are 96 ++. Do you guys think that’s competitive enough… ?
Have hope! Traditionally the cut off score is lower for the Summer semester. Recently it’s been in the mid 95’s. I would do what you can this semester I increase your score just in case you have to apply again for fall. You definitely have a chance though!
I recently got my petition accepted to retake the HESI. Has anyone taken it 3 times? I scored the same on both (below 89). The 2nd attempt, life happened and I wasn’t able to study and couldn’t cancel my test. I need help in reading and grammar. I scored 96 in math and A&P. Please help!

I highly suggest you retake HESI.
Last application period I got a 93.8 and still didn’t get in ? it’s kind of a bummer because I think ever since Covid, the cut off points rose up from 91-93 to High 95’s.

I know! I've been reading all the posts from past cohorts, and that is crazy! Just got another HESI scheduled right before ny contract signing session! Any advice on grammar?Hopefully I can get over 95% and my score will bumped up to 95ish!

Yes I agree about the scores raising. I thought I was a shoe in with my 95.1 considering what the cutoffs used to be. The last two semesters I didn’t get in. Hopefully the cutoff average stabilizes.
