Hi everyone! I created this in order for us UNLV pre-nursing students who are applying for Summer 2022 admission and to share HESI A2 exam scores. Feel free to ask questions and you may share your calculation points you are applying with. I am planning on taking my HESI mid-November or December 2021.
I’m applying for Summer 2022 admission with:
HESI: I haven' taken yet.
KIN 223 (3 attempt points): A
KIN 224 (3 attempt points): IN PROGRESS
BIOL 251: A (taken at CSN)
CHEM 108: B (3 attempt points)
NURS 299 (3 attempt points): IN PROGRESS
MATH 124 (2 attempt points): A
NOTE:
I will post my calculation points once I receive my grades for HESI, KIN224, and NURS299.
I believe anyone who has 96 or higher is definitely a sure ball nursing student for Summer 2022, so congrats to you guys!!
Us in the 95’s or lower are the ones that are unsure because it has been really fluctuating the past few signing session ? So so so scared!
Try not to be too scared! I have had to apply multiple times and it was hard on me but everything happens for a reason. You just gotta stay hopeful! The Summer semester typically has a lower cutoff from what I’ve heard so it’s still possible
Hello everyone! I'm applying to the program next week for Summer admission with 93.1 points. I'm a littleee nervous with my points, but I will be retaking my HESI in a few days to hopefully score higher. Do you think this will be enough to be accepted?

I wanted to add that I did not do my calculations right and I have 96.29 points not 97.29. I am terrified even though this is a 'good' score! I guess we will all find out next week so fingers crossed this round has a lower cut off.
Hey… I calculated your score and I think you’re way above 95.52… you have 14 attempt points right? And every core class is an A expect for Biol 251 which is a B +? And your HESI is 95.5%??
so per the calculation worksheet…
14 + [(85.2/22)(10)] + [(95.5•4)/8.75]
= 96.37%

+ .5 points for rebel recognition….
which puts you at 96.87% total score

then just in case (highly doubt it tho) that you don’t get in and you retake math and get an A, this will be your new score! ? either way, you’ll get in!! Yay!!
