Hi, I was hoping to see if there was anyone here who isapplying to UWG for 2013? I have just submitted my application. What do youthink of their new requirements?

:( I'm sorry guys. Ugh this is so nerve wrecking. I did receive a letter yet tho. So the wait for me continues.

klo-dog, If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA? Leoppard did they say why you were denied? Or are you just left wondering?

Hi mytwoboysmom,

The letter said that i met all qualifications and that i was a competitive candidate but i did not rank high enough to be considered. Thar is all i got.

3.7. Sorry for those who didn't make it in. Don't give up on your dreams of becoming a nurse. There are other schools. My sister is in a two-year program at GPC and really likes it and is doing well.

I have a 3.4 gpa and i made A's and B's in my sciences. I guess that was not enough.

Wow, that's surprising... Well I have a 3.2 and I made one C. So I guess I pretty much know what my letter will say when I get it. :(

well my gpa was only a 3.3 and i got wait listed....i also have a B.S. degree so that may have been a determining factor.

I have a 3.47 gpa according to west ga calculations and I got an A in every science class I've taken. My letter said I met all qualifications and was competitive, but I did not rank high enough for a position. I'm disappointed, but glad I know so I can move on to try for other programs. Congrats to those that got accepted!

Well my letter should get here today, my hands are shaking. I can't figure out how they are doing their points system. I just know I dont have any extra points added and my GPA is 3.57... I wish my husband understood how horrible this is waiting, he thinks I am being silly, but I have put my heart and soul into this, I am 45 years old and don't have years to keep applying.
