University of West Florida (UWF) FNP - Spring 2026

Published

I was hoping to connect with other folks who have applied for or intend to apply for the Spring 2026 FNP cohort at UWF.

I applied for early admission, the advisor said about two weeks for decisions to go out.

Anyone else?

Hi! I applied as well and still have not heard an official answer. They do call every month or so to "check in."

I believe early admission closed on the 19th.  Did the advisor tell you when to expect a decision?  Mine told me about 2 weeks, but looking at history on here it looks like folks have waited about three weeks in the past

I got a phone call check in 2 weeks ago-  I asked when we would hear from them, she was not sure!

I am also waiting and got the check in call last week and she said 2-3 weeks

I received a check in call last week as well.  I was told they should have decisions late next week and the emails should be trickling out through the end of next week and early decisions should know before before or around the 13th.  Do y'all care to share your stats?

Sure, what stats?

I applied this week! How long does it usually take to get a response? I applied at one other school and should hopefully know within the next week if I got in there.

Has anyone heard about how difficult it is for this school to learn on your own? I know this school doesn't do site visits at their school so I was a little nervous about that.

Hi I applied mid August and wondering if they send out results after the deadline date of Nov 1? Hopefully we all get in

I believe that you would be in the second round if you did not apply before the Sept. 19 deadline, so decisions after Nov. 1st.

I work with a NP that attended this program just a few years ago, she said it was very doable with a young child and working full time.  I wasn't really sure what else to ask her beyond that.  I am also nervous about the way it is set up.  Best of luck though!

You should find out if you got in by early admission the end of next week or early the following week.  Fingers crossed!

This school is taking forever!
And when they call she never knows... how do you not know when we will get our decision?
I've already been accepted at UA and probably going to go that route.
So my spot will be open most likely (if they approve me).

I also applied at UA and I'm waiting on my decision. Director told me I should know next week.
