University of West Florida (UWF) FNP Spring 2025

Published

Hello Anyone! I am currently awaiting acceptance into the UWF FNP Spring 2025 Cohort. Is there anyone else a sitting duck with me? I am beyond nervous but also excited to get this journey started. A little about me: I live in the Pensacola area and currently work as a full-time M-F Clinical RN. I spent my first years as an RN working PCU and Covid Pts. I dabbled a bit of time as a Circulator in the OR and now work in Oncology. Good Luck to anyone else waiting with me.

Specializes in Telemetry , LTC, psych, med-surg.

No, it's driving me crazy LOL

@NrseNae19 @NurseNesha2024Nothing here- the advisor did call me yesterday AM and said that emails should be going out as early as Thur-Fri and maybe even Mon-Tuesday. I keep refreshing the application status portal because I think maybe I will see it there first.  Going insane over here!

😬 My goodness this is nerve wrecking. I really hope we don't have to wait until November to find out.

I am hoping for the same thing. This week is just dragging too. I prefer an early answer so I can get life ready haha November is not enough time.

Hey everyone! I'm so happy someone made this forum! I'm from Ft Myers and graduated with my ASN in 2020 and completed my BSN in 2021. I have done bedside on a GI PCU and trauma. I recently transitioned to case management! I was told we should hear something for early admission 10/4-10/9 and if we don't have early admission we would get pushed to regular admission which we would know the end of November. Good luck everyone!

Hi Maria! I'm glad I am not the only one out here searching for others to get us through the waiting period and hopefully this program. My poor computer is tired of the refresh. Good Luck to you as well. Keep us posted.

Hi @Maria.Torres97! Welcome to the wait club 😆. The first thing I did this morning is check my application status. No change 😔. My advisor texted me a few days ago and said if I didn't hear anything by the end of next week, that would mean I've been pushed to the regular pool. Fingers 🤞🏽

Has anyone heard anything? I'm going crazy over here 🥵

Not yet. I almost wanted to cry.  I wanted to celebrate this weekend. Only 130 here in Pensacola so hoping there is still time today.

Hi everyone waiting to hear back from admissions. I've been a nurse in the ER for 10 years and PACU for last 2 years (retired ER nurse LOL)  Finishing up my bachelors in Dec. Only one class left =).   Good luck to you all.
