Hello! I noticed there hasn't been a thread created for applicants of the DNP program at UW for this coming fall and wanted to start one, so we all have some support as we're waiting for the results.
I applied to the AGAC track ? How about everyone else? If anyone else has any helpful information regarding the program or acceptance rate please share!

I applied to the Midwifery track. I have a co-worker who said she heard at the end of February last year...

Oh my gosh, that soon?! That's coming up ? Good luck, I hope you get in! I read a forum from last year who said they were even called by phone to be notified of admission! I'm not sure about the process for declination though...
She said she heard on 2/28. I'm not betting on that. I am hoping to hear within the first two weeks of March. Defense mechanism maybe? ?
I saw that post re: a call! Now I have to check my phone, my email, and my mailbox constantly!

Hello! I applied to the FNP track. I have no information about the process other than what I have read here and their website.
I live in Florida so it would be a cross country move for me if accepted.
I'm actually a bit wary of the NP profession right now considering the amount of graduates last year. I applied to UW because they seem to have a positive reputation in the community and their graduates are reported to be in demand.
They had a pretty thorough application process, hope mine stands ground!
Good luck everyone!

It's March 1st and still no news yet...I can feel myself sweating out of my head! Hahaha! I'm wondering if because they added the online interview they may need more time to process applications?

Yes, the UW nursing school is in the top 3 nursing schools in the nation! In particular I've heard their FNP program gets quite a few applicants every year, and that this track is one that receives a lot of attention.
Good luck all!

I have applied to two different tracks (FNP, AGNP-PC). Hopefully, we can hear back by early next week. Good luck everyone!!!
I think the online portion may add to wait time. Also, we had a pretty big snowstorm a couple of weeks ago and UW was shut down for almost a week.
I guess someone had made a 2019 post! It never came up in any of my previous searches.

Hey guys! I applied to the FNP cohort for this fall as well. The wait has been killing me! I'm not sure how to check my graduate application status on MyUW, so I've just been constantly checking my email.
I'm this close to calling the office for updates when acceptances/denials will be sent out... unless someone else here has already done it ?
Update: got impatient and called. Received a generic answer, "no later than April 15" ?
