Anyone applying to the UW SoN for fall 2013? Anyone else FREAKING OUT about it like I am?

Rejected. This was my second attempt toward UW nursing program.

Thank you all for the kind words, I would be lying if I said I don't start crying talking about it...so I'm going to try to focus on trying to get more volunteer time, someway/somehow between my deployment & husbands deployment & apply next year, at least I'll kind of know what to expect as well as know to not even remotely get my hopes bc it seriously sucks to be rejected lol, more so than I imagined.

Bright bulb-I'm so very sorry, please don't give up, I can't imagine how doing this twice & being rejected will feel like (ask me in a year) :) but I know right now that if I gave up, I will regret it for the rest of my life. I hope whatever you choose to do, you get enjoyment & satisfaction out of it, bc that's what life is all about. (Big hugs!)

Oh I thought for sure you would be getting in! Oh dear you sound so much more articulate and put together than I. I no longer want to check my mail. I will pout with you! I do hope you come back and message with everyone. Will your unit allow you to apply to, maybe, PLU? I have heard that it is much easier to get in, something to do with no one wanting to take all the religion classes. But hey it's a university and it might work for you? I would have applied but I simply could not drive all the way to Tacoma everyday.A 3 hour drive (on I5 with these jokers) would kill me... actually it would probably be more detrimental for the others on the road. :bored:

No unfortunately UW is my only option, PLU is Army only :( you made me laugh at the I5 joke bc I would be driving the opposite if I had gotten in and was planning my train/bus route bc I prob would kill someone on the way, then be obligated to treat their wounds ;)

I will be applying to Renton Tech for fall 2013. hopefully will get in there, if not I am going to attend Eastern Washington U for Health managment and informatics program ( i m already in the program).

I'm so excited to hear about your plans! Good for you! I have adopted the same attitude - if I can't get into the U, I'm going to pursue other options in education so that I can someday get my nursing degree. It's what I truly want, so there is nothing that is going to stand in my way.

Best of luck to you in all your future endeavors!!!!!
