Hello! I am a current BSN student and will graduate in a year. I am beginning to research DNP programs and have not yet attended an informational session as I am going to school in California. Congratulations on being accepted into the U of W DNP program. I too am interested in applying for the program and wanted to know if you'd mind answering a few questions. First, how is the program. I read online that attendance is required once per week for the first year, is this true or do you find yourself at school more often? Also, do you work full time or have other classmates that work full time? I am also wondering how much the school roughly cost per year, as it's not exactly clear online. I'm hoping to attend the information session, but if you could give me some information as well it would be much appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if a DNP is required for the FNP in WA now? I want to do the DNP anyway, but I am not seeing any MSN FNP programs and am wondering if WA is requiring a DNP now.
