University of Um Nursing Acceptance Rate

Published

I'm currently enrolled at Fiu taking the prerequisite courses for nursing. I'm

just missing 3 science courses to apply to UM as a transfer student. I'm actually going to be takig those courses at dade as it's cheaper since I'm planning on going to UM which is expensive. I currently meet all the minimum requirements as a transfer to UM. can anyone tell me their experience with going from Dade to UM nursing school please?

Specializes in GENERAL.

No anecdotal information here except that a few nursing students I knew and my primary care physician all went there and are lovely intellegent people.

(collegescorecard.ed.gov) paints an expensive but rosey picture of this impressive institution. Its graduation and retention rates are simply phenomenal and as far as I'm concerned that's what counts.

Most other info about any school is superfluous. Like the football team at "The U" is very good. This of course is unimportant to me since I am a Dawg as are most people from Georgia whether male or female.

But all in all your plan sounds very good taking the basics at Dade and finishing up at "The U."

I am from Mdc and I am also applying to um as transfer student as well. I finish all of my pprerequisites and will receive my AA degree at mdc. I had a great time here, it was a long journey. The bonds that I have created here will never be forgotten. So @angels2296 when are you applying?
