Yes I think it's required. I'm going tomorrow for the Q&A after my interview but doing the morning thing first. It says tour is not mandatory

I got accepted as well! Is anyone else having an issue with paying the deposit through the mystar portal? It keeps giving me an error.

What I've noticed, is that first initial login usually gives me an error page. What I've done is just close it and reopen it and it works. I just put my deposit down. Everything went smoothly after that.

what browser are you using? It allowed me to "accept" the seat but when I go to click the "pay admissions deposit" button is when I get an error that says "you are not authorized for this page"

I'm using chrome. That's crazy; it did the same for me. I honestly just clicked that first tab, where you agree to everything, then hit next at the bottom. That seemed to work for me

I got this error. I paid through the phone by calling the bursars office @ 409-772-2503

Oh nice! I will try this first thing in the morning. Did you get any type of receipt/confirmation? Or did your myStar account reflect it after you paid?

They gave me a confirmation number and it was withdrawn from my bank account immediately LOL
