Hi Everyone!I finally got an emaill today that I got accepted into BSN program for 2010!!!Today has to be the moment of my life that I've been waiting for so long. I'm so happy and excited. I live in California but the school is in Nevada so it's a move but WHO CARES! hahaha So I'm wondering if anyone here got accepted into this program for August 2010. And those of you who are trying to get into nursing school, please don't give up as I waited nearly 2 years for this. If I can do it, so can you. Keep praying and believe that you will get!

When i did it, the written portion question was to define what communication is and what do I think what communication is and what is an effective communication and you need to finish it within 15 minutes. And after that, they called back for the oral interview. there were 2 nursing professors interviewed me and asked questions such as, " why do you want to become a nurse" "The nursing school is a cohort program thus a team work is very important, would you be a good team player and why?" "who inspired you to become a nurse?" "Why should we accept you as a nursing student at USN" "If one of your team player offended you, how would you resolve the situation?" and such. it was relatively easier than i thought would be. I just tried to be myself and honest as possible and i didn't want to impress them by over-exaggerating some of the answers just to sound good. I got the admission package last week and one thing that i didn't understand was all nursing students who get into this school have to purchase a laptop and it's a MUST. i thought that was weird and unfair. But overall, i'm pretty excited about it.Let me know how it goes as well! And feel free ask my anything if you have any questions regards to the interviews.
