Happy new year! I was just wanting to start a new thread for people who will be applying to USF CRNA program this year, 2025! Applications will be opening Feb 15, right around the corner. I still have a few things to complete. Taking Chem and A&P 1 and 2 over again at HCC.. took them 10 yrs ago so having to take again ?Not that A&P has changed much haha. I'll be applying before the priority deadline in Aug. Good luck to everyone applying this year!!

I'm not sure if they would just throw it away because of one section if you're a good candidate as a whole. When did you put in the application and have you heard anything?

I wouldn't hurt to re-take it because I know the average is higher but I've seen some with lower scores get in who stand out in other areas.

I submitted it on Friday, application is already verified and USF told me it's under review. I don't mind retaking it, I just want to make sure my application isn't just discarded. I believe I'm a good candidate, I've done every ICU specialty during the past 7 years including CTICU, have strong letters (even from ICU doctors and CRNAs) have done lots of shadowing and have my CCRN plus I've done charge and preceptor. I even retook some sciences and a graduate course Pharm and got all As, hopefully they take that in consideration !! Fingers crossed for everybody applying 🙂

Hey guys,

Please I'll like to know if there is anyone here that sent in their application towards the end of June and have heard back?

For those that have heard back, how long did it take to hear back from the admission committee about an interview after application?

Thank you guys!

I received an interview offer a week after my application was verified on NursingCas. I applied beginning of June though.

Not that hot to be honest. But it's behind me now. I'm going to apply to some other programs and wait and see. This is my first time applying so getting an interview gave me some validation in my resume and experience.

I did my interview and don't feel too great about it either

I feel the same. At least we are not alone. I will hope for the best for all of us 🙏🏼

was it the way the way you answered that doesn't have you all feeling good or that the interview conductors didn't make you all feel good/weren't engaging? just out of curiosity!!

I feel better that I'm not the only one who feels this way! I feel worse after interviewing.

I think both. I definitely think I could have answered the questions better. The interviewers also didn't react or say anything at all.

I agree with the no reaction part. I couldn't gauge if I doing well or not. In hindsight I don't think my responses were too bad. We'll see. Good luck to us all! Just a waiting game now. I applied to 6 other schools

I'm sorry to hear that! hopefully you're pleasantly surprised come august! I haven't had my interview yet but I guess it's nice to know not to expect much of a reaction 😵💫 haha

**** ignore the emoji's, not sure what happened there.
