I still have a few things to complete. Taking Chem and A&P 1 and 2 over again at HCC.. took them 10 yrs ago so having to take again ?Not that A&P has changed much haha. I'll be applying before the priority deadline in Aug. Good luck to everyone applying this year!!

Does anyone know the total tuition for this program? Online where it shows the finical aid it only showed Summer and fall and Spring of just 2023. Thank you!! Goodluck to those who interview.

Hey there! Just looked through the site and found some info!  Looks like each credit hour is $800 and the program is a 94 credit hour program. That equates to about $75,200. Also, on their website, they have a link to the most recent open house that was held in May 2024. It has some great information about additional costs and financial aid available. I highly recommend watching it. There is a ton of great informing there!

I attached the link here for you. Good luck!

Not that hot to be honest. But it's behind me now. I'm going to apply to some other programs and wait and see. This is my first time applying so getting an interview gave me some validation in my resume and experience.

An interview invite is certainly something to be hopeful/excited about! Remember, we can sometimes be our own worst critic. We're rooting for you!

I gotcha. I hope everything works out for you! I believe you'll land right where you need to be.

Hey guys,

I struggling with filling the Excel sheet for the Nursing GPA calculator. My clinical courses have credit values of 3, but the grade is an S. The Excel sheet adds the credit value to my overall credit, but gives me a point of 0. This automatically makes my GPA less than it is. Did anyone experience this problem?

Thanks.

Hey Guys,

I just had a question, maybe some of you could answer. I have everything they have asked for in terms of requirements. My only concern would be the GRE (I know that on their website they said they want competitive GRE scores, aka 292 combined and 3.0 in the writing section) does this mean that if I do not meet those tests scores, I will not be considered at all? I took the test 4 years ago and did not really prepare so I ended up with a 275 combined and 2.5 in writing. Do you think they will just still consider my application or will it be "discarded" since I do not meet such scores?

Hopefully anyone can help with this, Thank you and good luck.

Hey, from my understanding, they won't. If you're serious about this specific program, I would retake the GRE. The good news is the exam is about half the length it was when you took it 4 years ago. Don't let a silly standardized test determine your career. Give it a few weeks of solid review and kick its butt.

Thanks for replying, it makes sense. I'm going to start studying for the GRE, unfortunately I have already submitted my application, I will reach out to the school and tell them I'll be retaking the test !!

I'm not sure if they would just throw it away because of one section if you're a good candidate as a whole. When did you put in the application and have you heard anything?

I wouldn't hurt to re-take it because I know the average is higher but I've seen some with lower scores get in who stand out in other areas. But if you do want to take it definitely reach out like you said!
