Hey guys, just starting a thread for students applying for the Feb 15 start date for USF! How are we feeling?

Specializes in Neuro ICU/MICU Trauma Level II, CCRN.

I don't see an area on NursingCAS to submit their Nursing GPA form, I remember last year we had to but not this year it seems? Or are you uploading it in the "other" section in the documents?

I messaged Alaina Boudreau the admission recruiter about it and she said it's no longer used in the program

Thank you! I already submitted but they emailed saying if you have any updates to keep them Informed. I've applied to a couple other schools and already interviewed but this one my number one pick. Little bummed but it'll work out the way it's supposed to!

They said they've never once filled all 60 spots by priority - I think you'll be fine! They mentioned they usually only fill about half but it varies each year. They will continue interviews after the priority deadline 🙂

For USF's required resume template I see it says to not include additional information. Is everyone not putting workplace duties or any details for anything then?

They also answered this in the open house (vid is available online if you couldn't attend, they answer a lot of helpful questions!!) and they said you don't have to specifically use their template - you can use your own resume/CV if you have one. They said the most important part is just making sure you include all the categories they have listed on their own template

Specializes in ICU 2 years, step down 1 year.

Aw man I wish I would've seen this post earlier before just submitting my application.. I would've much rather uploaded the resume I already had vs using the template. I wonder if I can email them my own resume LOL

What are you guys doing for the faculty recommendation, I've graduated my nursing program 9 years ago

Are you guys sending you GRE score to the school directly or are you just uploading it to the cas, like the pdf that they wanted

For those who have already interviewed do you think we'll hear back by Friday 8/15 or Monday 8/18? Starting to feel the stress!
