has anyone interviewed yet? I did recently and am not feeling very good about it at all

:(

What do you feel went poorly? Was it your first interview?

I have yet to take the gre, however after putting together my schools list, probably half want the GRE so time to study for a bit 😅

I did this morning, it was pretty hard to tell but I don't think I bombed it

Why do you think it was hard?  Congratulations on getting an interview btw :)

I don't think it necessarily went poorly, I just don't know how to feel about it if that makes sense LOL. The questions were't hard but the way they asked them was odd, it was like 4 questions within one so it was hard to figure out how to answer, and then by the time I was done answering one part I would forget what the other parts were so it was hard to tell if I was answering adequately. Not my first interview and I've tried to do a lot of mocks to prepare! But I did the best I could! From what I've gathered, everyone seems to feel this way after the interview, hoping for good news come August! Good luck on your GRE, lots of schools seem to want it, so it's best to just get it out of the way now!

Ya I didn't think it was hard, but it was very hard to tell if I was doing well/how to feel about it LOL. Best of luck!

I hear you. Yeah I think they definitely try to have it be a bit of a mind game and try to overwhelm you purposely to see how you react. From what I've heard they care far less about what you say but rather how you say it. As long as you showcase some personality and show you're a nice human there's a good shot of getting in as long as your stats are good.

Yeah not thrilled about the GRE. It's one of those silly things they make people do to weed out applicants who don't want to do extra things. Studies have shown GRE has no correlation to NCE pass rates so many schools are dropping it unless you have a low GPA. But when in Rome!! Haha. I'd rather take the CCRN 10 times over instead of studying for gre.

Had my interview 2 weeks ago. Anyone else feel very rushed through it? Very hard to say how it went, partly what I expected yet also not how I expected at all. *sigh* now we wait another month to hopefully hear!

If I remember right, their open house mentioned that they only ask emotional intelligence questions with no clinical questions - did they do any clinical q's at all? I found it hard to believe they wouldn't ask any (unless I misheard or misremember, which is also possible LOL)

Anyone know anything about their clinical sites? I don't see that anywhere on their page

I asked the student panel about them and I'm pretty sure they're all in tampa so you won't have to travel for for them!

Felt rushed and definitely felt like it was hard to answer some questions because of how they asked them. Couldn't tell if I was answering comprehensively enough because it was 3 questions in 1 lmao
