Hey everyone! I just submitted my primary and secondary application to the Advanced Emergency Nursing NP program at USA for the Spring 2015. Has anyone else applied? I thought this would be a great way to meet potential class mates and to update everyone on application statuses. Ready, set, go!!

I am thinking of creating a Facebook group for all PMHNP students for the fall, but it will open to anyone taking Patho, Pharm, and Health Assessment, etc. classes so we can bounce ideas off each other. Thoughts?

If you don't mind me asking, which option are you all doing for your tuberculosis screening? I was always used to doing the skin test but I just realized that it says we have to do two 1-3 weeks apart if we do that option. Not sure if they are wanting two done before the start of the program? Not sure if I'm reading that wrong but just wanted to get some thoughts on it.

i know! i uploaded the 1 step and they rejected it. I didn't read it all the way i guess. I think I'm just going to do the lab work so i have it in on time. It said you can upload two annual tb tests as long as they aren't more than 12 months apart but i don't have the record from my old one!

My work does annual TSpot testing so I just got my records from my work. Work pays for it bc they require it, but someone told me that its pretty expensive otherwise. At least that's what I was told. You must have some form of TB screening for work, can you use that?

If not, you'll just have to get one ppd done now and another done in a week :)

My jobs does the 2 step one or whatever its called since it is required at my job, so I just asked for a copy and uploaded that one.
