I'm applying for Fall 2017 (need to wait a few more weeks). I anticipate I'll be accepted as I have a 4.0 GPA in my BSN program and an overall cumulative 3.86 GPA. I'm applying for dual FNP/ACNP DNP.
I'm also applying to Michigan State University (MSN FNP) and UM-Flint (DNP ACNP). We'll see where I end up. I need dual certification to be an NP in the ER at my hospital, so USA offers exactly what I want with the dual degree

Sounds good. We only require FNP in the ED's where I live, however, the dual degree sounds like it will obviously prepare one better for the ED.
I mean NursingCas still has my status as "verifying", so I am waiting for this stage to be completed.
You couldn't have applied for spring 2017 then. I don't think they are even going to accept your application.
From their site: "The Supplemental Application should be completed AFTER you have completed your NursingCAS application and it has moved through the following stages: received, complete then VERIFIED. Once it is verified you may complete the Supplemental Application."
If it hasn't been verified then it hasn't been sent to the university.
I've applied to the FNP program staring in Spring 2017 as well.
This is the very first school I have applied. I have no idea if I will be accepted or not.
One of my colleagues applied to a NP program at USA (I don't know which track) and wasn't accepted because his GPA was 3.1. It sounds like many applicants have 3.5-3.6 GPA.

Has anyone else applied to this program/start date?
Do you anticipate getting accepted or why not?
Where else did you apply or get accepted into?
