University of South Alabama DNP Spring 2011

Hello, has anyone applied to University of South Alabama DNP for Spring 2011? Has anyone heard from them, or received a phone interview? Thanks in advanced!

I have looking into this for a couple months now. I have e-mailed them regarding the program but I have yet to hear from them. I am also trying to find reviews on the program. If you hear anything or know additional info let me know :)

I am in the Fall 2010 FNP/AACNP DNP program at USA. I have a friend that has applied for Spring 2011 she has not heard anything as of yet. I believe that Letters are supposed to be sent out either this week or next week. She also did not have a telephone interview. They tell you not to read into having or not having a telephone interview and you should listen to that. I did not have a phone interview and got into the program. If I can help answer any questions for you please let me know.

Hi, thanks for replying! What were the typical GPA and credentials like of those admitted to the ER DNP? Did anyone get in with just their BSN and no RN experience? Thanks again!

Several people got into the program with limited or no RN experience. One very nice young woman had just got licensed the week before orientation, meaning she got accepted to the program while she was still in BSN school or just after graduating. The GPA of people admitted range from a 3.3 or above ( I think). Hope this helps.

I applied for the spring 2011. I'm anxiously awaiting for the letters to be sent. The university said they will get mailed Oct 4. Good luck. I am abit nervous finding out yea or nea.
