Maybe with the switch to the emergency department the FNP/ENP program would be a better fit? Did you mention the job transition in your resume or statement? Maybe that will get flagged as something that they can help you transition tracks like they did with Victoria?

Im very nervous because I was told TWICE that I was okay. I said my passion was critical care. I have Tele experience, I don't wish to do ENP and definitely not primary care. I applied to only this school because of how reputable the site was, how well the school communicated and how affordable it was and I was able to specialize in cardiology too and there are no other schools like this. But I am at my wit's end. It sucks how the rules keep changing. ? and how much false hope I keep getting.

Oh hunny my heart is aching for you knowing that your passion is like mine. I desperately hope you qualify this year and get in. If things changed between when you applied and now, I would definitely at least ask if they do deny you, what you can do to be a qualifying candidate for the next semester or if you are able to make a change immediately, if you could still be considered for this semester. But I still have hope that because they told you that your experience qualifies you that it should be what you need. Would it be possible for you to apply for an ICU position? I know you said you are in the middle of a switch from surgical Tele to ER so does that mean you could not go through with the switch? Obviously I don't know the details I just know that if there's any avenue to uncover, it doesn't hurt to discuss different possible paths.

I asked them last time they denied me and they didn't reply for the first time ever haha...I have tried for ICU but I am in a small hospital now and in order to get into the bigger hospitals, typically the only way in is through ER or float pool. They don't hire outsiders for ICU. So I am in the middle of transitioning to ER so I can work up to ICU there at the bigger hospital. I am just finalizing things to get through it. My passion is Cardiovascular Critical Care but this school is always changing their rules and I am so burned out being on the floor. I've been doing all I can to get back into school and put all my faith into this program.

Hey ya'll, so about the phone call was it from a listed number??? I got two calls from a Restricted number today. No voicemail left.

Also, I am happy to see that the staff appears to be willing to work with you to get you accepted, I think that's great! I've never heard of a school doing that.

I looked at the other threads and the Fall entry got their acceptance emails on 3/22---FYI. I know they said it would be early this week tho.

I’m starting to doubt it will be today. I honestly wish they had not sent the email saying early this week or I wouldn’t have been looking for it. Good luck to everyone!! Glad some people have heard back a little bit at least we know they are definitely working on it!

I know! I have been checking my email to an unhealthy level. Uggghhh. My guess is it will be tomorrow. ?

same...its kinda unprofessional to send out those emails saying "it'll be in 4 weeks"..."two weeks"..."early next week". like no other school does that. I would feel better just expecting to hear around this month...cause then theres no false hope.

Hey guys, so I reached out to USA asking if we should be on the look out for emails or letters. She got back to me saying if you are accepted, you will receive an e-mail. If you are denied, it will be a letter. I guess the fact I haven't gotten an email yet means my letter is probably being delivered next week telling me I got denied again ...

Has anyone actually gotten an email? I am not going to give up until tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Hang in there! I think they told someone they would receive an email by Friday! ?

I wouldn't be looking for a letter thus far, because as many people as there are on this thread-no one has received an email or letter. Surely, all of us weren't denied.

Maybe they'll send emails tomorrow since it's Friday and they won't have to field the calls of the people who got rejection emails or no emails at all after people begin getting acceptance emails.
