Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to USA for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey. Also, I am currently based in FL, anyone else from out of state care to share their experiences with this program being online and all? How was it finding a clinical site and preceptor?

Hey! I am applying for either the Summer or Fall term also for the NNP track. Not sure how the application process might be affected but I cannot find the primary application on NursingCAS. They said it would open on 8/15.

Hi @samkit102092, so glad to hear from another person applying to the to the NNP track. It seems as we are hard to come by in schools these days. As for the application in nursing school, I went to add program, searched "South Alabama" and made sure that available programs was selected. It popped right up for me!

I just looked again and its just showing Spring 2021 RN-MSN for me. IDK why.

It's showing that on your application? Can you un-select that at all? Or maybe log out of your NursingCAS account and log back in?

Hello! I know USA application for the Spring is closed, but not sure about the Summer or fall admissions. I applied to their BSN-MSN program, received an email that it can take 8 weeks to hear about a decision from the program...

When did you receive your email? Did you apply for Summer or fall?

No email... they just said they would start reviewing applicants in November/December.

I applied for the Summer 2021 program.
