University of San Francisco (USF) ME-MSN FALL 2023 (ORANGE COUNTY)

Published

Hello everyone!
I just made a thread since I don't see one for USF ME-MSN program for fall 2023 (Orange County Campus).

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! If you wouldn't mind, for those accepted when is your deadline to submit your intent to attend or decline and your deposit due so that those of us on the waitlist might have a better idea of when we'll hear back? Thank you so much!

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone had made a facebook page for those who have been accepted?

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: Premium members may create a "club" by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on "Create A New Club" in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

       Thank you.

Oh, nice! Does anyone know how getting a master's in nursing rather than just a regular BSN benefits you in the work force? Like is it worth it? IDK if I'm trying to be there for 2 years, vs an ABSN program LOL

MSN provides you with a wider range of career opportunities and higher pay than an RN with a BSN. It also depends on what you want to do in nursing, for example, my goal of becoming an NP requires me to achieve an MSN degree. You can also get admin/management/leadership roles with MSN. A BSN is sufficient for other nursing areas like bedside nursing.

Has anyone heard any updates about the waitlist?

I am waitlisted and I haven't heard anything about the waitlist yet!

waitlist acceptances went out today, they have about two weeks to respond. Fingers crossed there is another wave of acceptances because I am also on the waitlist! Good luck and congratulations to everyone who has been accepted

I was also waitlisted and haven't heard anything back either. I wonder about how many people usually get off the waitlist.
