Hello everyone! I know it is early but I wanted to get the discussion for University of San Francisco MESN Spring 2024 started. What is everyone stats?
Nina Tran said:They just emailed me back and said we will hear back mid-late November. They are at the end of the admissions review and should be getting decisions out soon.
?? I hope we all make it, there's not 26 people applying to SF in this thread, maybe 10 to 15 I think? So hopefully we all can make it.
I called and was given the same information Scholarship applications through my hospital are due in two days. Fingers crossed we hear by then.
A distraction question....What kind of medical experience do people have? I work in the ER and have a scope of practice between LVN and RN. I mostly start IVs and give meds. Wishing everyone luck.

Before anyone compares themselves and feels anxious about a lack of hands-on medical care, admissions says that they don't expect hands-on direct patient experience since many of us don't have any sort of licensure yet. So you won't be penalized if you don't have direct patient experience. Just putting that out there for my fellow overthinkers! ?
We're all coming from different age ranges (21-50) so what makes your application valuable is very subjective to your age. ?

I've done CNA work in med surg, PACU, Preop, and in patient rehab. I've removed ivs and drew blood from them but not inserted them.
