Hey everybody,
I didn't see a thread yet for the Summer 2013 cohort for USF Masters Clinical Nurse Leader Program so I decided to make one. The application deadline is coming up and figured it would be great to meet fellow applicants and stress out together haha
I emailed about the status on our application too and apparently they said we would have been notified by last week and if not to call this week. When I called the lady over the phone she mentioned they will send out notifications by next week to a couple of weeks. Anyone else attempt to call or email to get a more concrete answer?
Quick question, who did you guys talk to exactly to get this information from the office when you did call? I tried calling the main person the recruiter, but she has yet to answer my calls or respond back to my messages via answering machine.
Seriously we need to know soon because whoever needs to apply to financial aid, needs to do so right away because that's something that is lengthy in time, and the choices we have to make will take a toll on time as well.
For a program that charges this much, you'd think that they'd be a little more on top of it. I've heard back from cash-strapped CSU programs already that start in the Fall.
Does anyone have any idea how well-received graduates of this program are when applying to local new-grad programs? I'd love to do everything I can in advance to have a shot of being accepted into the UCSF new grad program. USF has clinicals there, so I know that helps, but I've heard that the bias against masters-entry students persists in the area.
Hi Everyone, I just got a call this afternoon too that I was admitted! I'm still shocked, especially after being rejected from other programs. Everything happens for a reason right?! Super excited though! Now to see if I can make all the pieces of this puzzle fit together. My husband and I currently live in Orange County so this would be a huge change for us! Congrats to you for being admitted as well!

April 22, really?? How is that supposed to be enough time to move our lives for those that don't live in the bay area if we are accepted?
