Hello everyone!

I wanted to start a forum for those who applied to University of San Francisco BSN nursing fall 2018. I just finished my application and submitted all my documentation last week. I am very nervous but extreamly excited to find out if I am accepted. USF is my dream school. Let's stick together in this as we anticipate our answers!

My statistics:

Transfer student from Diablo Valley College

3.55 pre-req GPA

3.75 overall (76 credits)

150 hours volunteer service at John Muir Center for Recovery

50 hours volunteer service at Northbrook nursing home

Phi Theta Kappa honor society member

Alpha Gamma Sigma honor society member

4-H member 13 years

My personal statement was a creative short story of my first experience with community service at age 8 and my care for a family member after they had a severe stroke.

hey guys! I called admissions and they said decisions should be going out this week or next week!

Hey everyone. I have never heard of interviews being conducted for USF. Is it something done for freshman applying? Any news from anyone yet?

I believe interviews are done for the masters program? That's my guess. Hopefully we hear back this week!

Also I spoke with USF this last week. We should be receiving our notifications in mail by this week till the end of the month. By the end of the month USF will be updating everyone's applicant portal with decisions.

I also got off the phone with one of the counselors and she said we should all expect the letter via mail by tuesday! She also said to call back on Monday for an update.

Tuesday as in April 24th?

Yes! They're expecting to mail out decisions on Friday

Omg I just want to Know!!!!

Has anyone heard back? Portal message was updated on 4/18 indicating "decision letter sent" but that's all.

I haven't received anything yet. My friend got a rejection letter yesterday.

My applicant portal doesn't state anything different.

My portal doesn't say anything different either
