I wanted to start a forum for those who applied to University of San Francisco BSN nursing fall 2018. I just finished my application and submitted all my documentation last week. I am very nervous but extreamly excited to find out if I am accepted. USF is my dream school. Let's stick together in this as we anticipate our answers!

Transfer student from Diablo Valley College
3.55 pre-req GPA
3.75 overall (76 credits)
150 hours volunteer service at John Muir Center for Recovery
50 hours volunteer service at Northbrook nursing home
Phi Theta Kappa honor society member
Alpha Gamma Sigma honor society member
4-H member 13 years
My personal statement was a creative short story of my first experience with community service at age 8 and my care for a family member after they had a severe stroke.
Great stats! I know I keep looking at my calendar counting down the days. From what USF told me, acceptance letters should be mailed out after April 1st.
I called them today. They are saying now that it is going to be mid to late April í ½í¸”. I was really looking forward to this week. Let me know if any of you get your letters.

I really think you are good to go. I also work as lvn now at the VA Mather hospital. I see the students all the time from USF. Freshman students got acceptance letters already starting in March. Transfer students next. I am getting really nervous too. The competition is very high. Good luck. Kathy
So I just got off the phone and they stated if you have not heard from them yet you were not selected for an interview. I asked if this means I am automatically NOT accepted then and she said she could not say, she could just say that the final decisions letters will go out soon. But really if they were going to accept you why would they not have interviewed you
Was is stated anywhere that USF would be interviewing prospective students? I know that is a part of the application process for SFSU, but never heard of it for USF.

3.8 science GPA with microbiology in progress
I have over a year work experience as an EMT at a substance abuse detox and multicultural overseas volunteer medical experience.
My two letters were from the director of my volunteer program and the healthcare director at my work.
