University at Rochester May 2020 ABPNN

I'm based in nyc, so a few programs here such as NYU or maybe MSV. I already submitted my prior grades a while back so the new grades won't count with this application. I'm doing it to open more opportunities for me to apply to other schools just in case I don't get accepted into rochester. Hoping I do!

Psych nurse here too! I think there are a high number of us this year who applied.

Did everyone get all A’s on their prerequisites? I am nervous about my grades.

I am also in NYC and schools like Hunter don’t take anything below a B. U of R has a lower bar. Especially since they don’t require labs, they are one of the only schools I have seen so far where you don’t need labs.

I didn't realize that u of r didn't require labs. My pre req gpa is around 3.15 whereas my cum. gpa is 3.46. I'm also nervous about my grades but they do take a more holistic approach compared to other schools.

Does anyone know how they send rejections/acceptances? I am sitting by my phone like a crazy person with the notifications on. Snail mail? Email?

I've heard it could be email or phone call, or both. Crossing my fingers that it will be today, but hoping at least sometime this week more realistically.

Thanks for your response; now I will keep my phone on too! I never heard it could be via phone. Yes with their track record, probably this week.

Yuppppppppp this is reaching the level of a syndrome with me. I spoke to someone currently in the September cohort and she said she got a call at 8:00pm on a Friday...so ya know...just internally screaming.
