University of Rochester- AMPNN

Hey guys.. TO all who have gotten accepted, I am looking to apply to this program among others.

My overall is a 3.0 with a pre-req of 3.5...I also have 3yrs direct patient contact work experience as a Orthopedic Tech. I was just hoping you guys could give me an insight on what my chances would be in being accepted? anything in particular the school is looking for? etc... Maybe some of you are willing to share your GPAs and your application experience.

Now that I'd basically given up on U of R, I have gotten a call for an interview. Did you ever end up hearing anything about the AMPNN?

hey snooyzd, so u of r gave you an interview if so then yayyy thats awesome. also congrats your other interview I am sure you will do great and best of luck. We don't hear anything until end or mid January at the latest. Do not give up, things tend to get hectic during the process, so hang in there. They ended up placing me on ABPNN instead of AMPNN which is fine, as long as I got interviewed :-).

Has anyone had their Master's program interview yet? I was told during the first interview (back in November) that they would follow up with a master's interview... do you know?

I couldn't even get them to set up the first interview - they called me, I called back to set up a time, they seriously laughed at me and told me I'd have to wait until they found more interview times and despite my attempts to get back in touch they never got back to me with an interview time. Even though I gave up on them, I like checking back here to see if anyone ever heard back for the Master's program. I really liked the look of it... :down:

You should probably call them to find out what their deal is. Good luck!

I put this on another Rochester board in case anyone is checking here, the admissions person said they are hoping to make decisions by next week. I haven't heard back about an AMPNN interview so I don't quite know what that means. BUT we should have some closure soon :)
