University of Rochester Accelerated Nursing Program - ABPNN

Published

I just got accepted into U of R's accelerated bachelors nursing program. Just wanted to start a thread to see who else is going there!

Hmm. Odd, I don't recall seeing anything about that particular site, but I do recall getting additional login information at some point during the acceptance. I don't remember if it was before or after my letter though.

Not sure what site that is. I agree that it looks like something for applicants or high schoolers.

My boss at work thinks perhaps it was sent as a marketing technique or something. In the email they said if you had any questions to reply, I think maybe I will just shoot them a quick response and ask what I am exactly supposed to do with this site.

They said mid-may and still nothing. :/

how were interviews for everyone? im nervous !

My interview went well. I am crazily checking the mail everyday now :p

what questions did they ask besides the usual? why do you want to be a nurse? strengths and weaknesses? where do you see yourself in 5 years? when and how will they notify us?

They asked me pretty much the usual, and also how I was going to afford the school, do I have a good support system. My interviewer made it flow like a conversation and was very warm and open. She told me mid to end of may we should start hearing. Here's my thought: the last of the interviews were done last week. I would think this week they would be deliberating and mailing out letters. I can't see it taking more than a week for them to decide. So my thought would be that next week would be when we starting hearing. None the less, I am checking the mail everyday when I get home from work and keeping my fingers crossed!

I applied for January start - so I wont get a decision till oct/nov :(

Aw, long wait msnee! I feel for you.

xoxjedixox - I just got the mail - nothing today. I live very close to Rochester so I'd probably be one of the first to hear back when letters go out. I'll post when it happens, lol. :D
