I just got accepted into U of R's accelerated bachelors nursing program. Just wanted to start a thread to see who else is going there!
Hey everyone! I was wondering if there is anyone else that is on the waiting list and how their waiting list works. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it!
I was wondering this as well! I wasn't sure if the waitlist was on a "first come, first served" basis or if they already had a waitlist going.
Hi Aayla123, Congratulations on having just three weeks to go...! If you're not too busy, I do have some questions for you :)
Are you going on to the Masters program after you finish up your BSN? Do you think you'll work at one of the hospitals at UR (Strong, Highland...)? If not, where do you plan on going? How has your experience been overall, what did you like/dislike? What is the #1 word of advice you'd give to an incoming APNN student?
Thanks in advance and good luck!
Hello guys,
I have decided to go to Rochester . I am from the Bay area, California. I am so excited to start the program and meet you all there. An early parties sounds great, before we are too busy to enjoy the company :)
Have you guys started to look at the private loans? Is there any international student like me in this group looking for a private student loan?
Does anyone know the best way to compare the best private student loan without actually applying to the loan? I want to know how do you compare the best deal for the different loans. Thanks for sharing before hand.
Sorry if this is off topic or has already been addressed but does anyone have a list of good neighborhoods to live in in Rochester? I've heard of "white coat ghetto" (I don't see anything listed as such on craigslist though) and Park Ave. I have seen postings for the Arts District but not sure if it's a good place to live.
If anyone has any recommendations, please share!

Hey Malapata,
Here is a website I found on the "white coat ghetto". I'm not sure about the other neighborhoods you listed. Where are you thinking about living??

Good news for all of you waitlist hopefuls! I have decided not to attend, and have just released my seat in the program.
Good luck to everyone! I wish you all the absolute best! :)
