Haven’t seen a thread for this so I wanted to start one. Anyone apply? Deadline was yesterday and of course I’m already anxious LOL

Do you think that there are fewer applicants this year due to COVID?
I know the feeling. I applied to four schools total. Haven’t heard from two, awaiting one (your), and accepted to one (where I no longer what to go or even consider). I’m praying I get into your!
I think it’s quite possible that it’s due to COVID. While some of us are running towards the field, there may be many who are running the opposite way. It could also be due to the time of year we are applying for.

Waitlisted at Brockport, haven't heard from Bing or your. My husband just accepted a job out-of-state, so we'll be living apart until I finish one of the programs. If I don't get in anywhere, I'll move to where he is and figure it out from there.
That’s tough. Do you have a preference as to where you want to go? Or it doesn’t matter and you’re just going with the flow? Hopefully you hear back soon from a school. I hate that they make us wait for a long time for a decision. I applied to SB in September, I know I didn’t get in because they’ve already had interviews, but I still haven’t even received a rejection letter. That annoys me so much for some reason LOL
Hey guys just was wondering what other accelerated schools you all applied to?
also, if you don’t mind- how did everyone do in their pre reqs? Sometimes when you get a rejection they don’t say why, and they don’t really tell you. I kinda want to get a feel to see if it’s based on grades, merit, ..?

My grades for the pre reqs are:
Anatomy and Physiology 1&2: B
Micro, Stats, Human Development, Nutrition: A
I've applied to Duke, ASU, NYU, Rochester, and UMass-Amherst!

A&P 1 and 2 - A
Microbiology - A
Human Dev - A
Nutrition - B
Statistics - A
I applied to Stony Brook, Pace (Westchester), University of Rochester, and Monroe. I haven’t heard back from SB or Pace.
I'm doing okay. I guess I sort of accepted a program. They're letting me take the prereqs at the school in the Spring 2021 semester and then I formally applying to the program for the fall 2021 semester on February. I also have to take the TEAS by February 2021. I'm still figuring out if I want to go through with it since I haven't formally been accepted ( still a chance of rejection) and I just found out I have to take the TEAS, so I only have like 3.5 weeks to prepare for that. But, this option is nice since it's closer to home, but it's not a surefire acceptance and there are these extra steps, but overall it is like $20,000 cheaper than Rochester. Has anyone taken the TEAS before? Is it realistic to prepare for it in 3.5 weeks and get a good enough score? I am hoping Rochester will send out decisions soon though.

I think it’s possible. I took the TEAS with only a couple of weeks preparation back in November and did okay. You really just need a basic understanding of each section. It’s not hard and nothing to stress about. Just do some review, buy the TEAS book if you can, and you should be fine!
