Haven’t seen a thread for this so I wanted to start one. Anyone apply? Deadline was yesterday and of course I’m already anxious LOL

I just got offered an interview! I'm excited but always scared because I am from NYC and moving 5 hours away for three years is a bit nerve wrecking since I just came back from being upstate for almost four years for undergrad. If anyone has any tips on how to finance the program and any interview tips. It would be very helpful.

Hey, I also received an interview request yesterday. I’m scheduled for next week. Also, isn’t the ABPNN program only a year? Are you talking about the master’s program? I didn’t realize how pricey the program is. When I did the math online it’s like $85,000 (direct and indirect costs)if I did the math correctly. Someone correct me if I’m wrong ?. I know they give information on several scholarship opportunities on the website, so looking on there may be helpful. I’m looking into umass Amherst as well (it’s 17 months though instead of a year). The tuition is around $46,000 assuming I did the math right, which is less daunting. Good luck on your interview!

Congrats on your interview invites!! It does seem like felicity is talking about the masters program which is three years including the ABSN.

and yes, most ABSN programs that I’ve researched are $40k+.

I hope to get an interview. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I’m sure you’ll hear something. I think I read on a past thread that less people apply for the Summer term than the other terms so it’s not as competitive. Thanks!

I submitted mine either on 10/31 or 11/1. I can’t remember. I submitted the application earlier than I submitted the statement, etc.

Okay, thanks!

So yeah I applied to the masters program ! I submitted my application early like October 15th or something and I've been in contact with one of the admission counselors for about a month before I submitted. However, I'm wondering if I could switch to just the ABSN, if I don't decide to do my masters there. I hope you all get interviews!! and wish everyone the best of love!

Haha so I just called to see if they got all of my official transcripts (didn’t realize until afterwards we could submit unofficials) and the admissions rep was so kind. It was shocking. And she even provided a decent amount of information that was helpful. I am just in shock of how helpful and kind she was was and wanted to share. You don’t usually get that when speaking to admissions staff ☺️

Yeah, I agree. I called a couple of months ago asking about the CPR requirement and the lady was kind/helpful and gave me her number/name if I had any other questions in the future.
